Assembling the coilovers

To free up some space in the garage I decided to put together the springs and dampers.

I didn’t find any instructions on which spring to use where.
After som searching on forum.miata.net I found it to be the springs marked “MX-5 5513” to be used with the longest shocks in the front and the “MX-5 5514” with the shorter shocks in the rear.
I thought this would be a tideous job because of the springcompressors and no airtools.
It turns out that the shorter FM-springs can be assembled without compressing the springs
FM recomends that the rear dustboot is cut above the center bumpstop “bump” to increase the suspension travel. This gives another 10-15 mm of suspension travel.
