How quiet down the WG
The open dump pipe from the WG is a little too much for street use. It might also give me problems on the track.<div>The sound seems immense from the cabin and I’m pretty sure it is very noticable from outside as well.</div><div>
</div><div>As I mentioned before I found some Honda guys using a small 3” supertrapp disc only damper.</div><div>As it was fairly cheap I ordered one from Summit:
The first test was very promising. It is still loud but the nasty rasping sound is gone.</div>
My only concern at the moment is the added weight to the dump tube and if this could lead to cracking at the manifold. If this works out ok I’ll shorten the tube as the muffler is hanging down way too low.
